This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones warmoura.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember what you did — that you added something to your basket, that you chose a currency, that you are already logged in. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits; where this policy says “cookies”, it covers all of them.
Cookies are either first-party (set by warmoura.com) or third-party (set by another company whose service we use, such as an analytics or advertising platform). They are also either session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set period.
2. The categories we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the shop work. They remember your basket, keep you signed in, secure the checkout, prevent fraud, balance traffic, and remember your cookie choices. Without them you could not place an order.
They cannot be switched off and do not require your consent, because the site cannot function without them.
Typical examples set by Shopify, our e-commerce platform: _secure_session_id, cart, cart_sig, cart_ts, checkout_token, secure_customer_sig, keep_alive, _shopify_m, _shopify_tm, _shopify_tw, storefront_digest. Duration ranges from the length of your visit to about one year.
Performance and analytics cookies
These tell us how the site is used — which pages are visited, how people move through the shop, where they run into trouble — so we can improve it. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you personally.
Examples: Shopify Analytics (_shopify_y, _shopify_s, _y, _s, _landing_page, _orig_referrer) and Google Analytics (_ga, _gid, _gat). Duration: from the length of your visit up to two years.

Functional cookies
These remember choices you have made so the site feels like yours — your country and currency, your language, whether you have dismissed a banner, and recently viewed products. Turning them off does not break the shop, but you may have to make the same choices again on every visit.

Marketing and advertising cookies
These let us and our advertising partners show you relevant advertising on other sites and measure whether it worked. They can track browsing across different websites and may build a profile of your interests.
Examples: Meta / Facebook Pixel (_fbp, fr), Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 conversion tracking (_gcl_au, IDE), TikTok Pixel (_ttp), Pinterest Tag (_pinterest_ct_ua). Duration: typically up to 13 months.

3. Your consent
When you first visit warmoura.com from the UK, the EU or the EEA, a cookie banner asks what you are happy with. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose.
- Accept all — all categories are enabled.
- Reject all — only strictly necessary cookies are used. The shop works normally; you can still browse, buy and check out.
- Manage preferences — choose category by category.
We ask again at least every 12 months, and sooner if we make a material change to how we use cookies. Consent is never bundled: refusing marketing cookies has no effect on your ability to shop.
4. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops any further processing but does not undo processing carried out while consent was in place.
You can also manage cookies in your browser — blocking them, deleting them, or setting the browser to warn you before one is stored. Instructions are in the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout from working.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser and device. Browsers do not yet apply the older “Do Not Track” signal consistently, so we do not respond to it; use the cookie preferences link instead.
6. Customers outside the UK and EU
If you shop with us from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Switzerland, local rules may differ. Wherever you are, you can use the cookie preferences link in our footer to control non-essential cookies. Customers in certain US states can also use the Your Privacy Choices page to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
7. Cookies and your personal data
Some cookie data — an IP address or a device identifier, for example — counts as personal data. When it does, it is covered by our Privacy Policy, including your rights of access, correction, erasure and objection.
8. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, and at least once a year. The date at the top shows the current version. Individual cookie names and durations are set by the providers listed above and can change without notice from them; the categories and purposes described here remain accurate.
